Biogas Plants – environmentally friendly operation with Sager + Mack pumps and filters

Clean, ecological and sustainable energy is in the context of our time. Biogas plants play an important role in the energy mix. However, the generation of environmentally friendly electricity through biogas can pollute the environment through various processes. The fermentation processes and the use of treatment or waste gas purification systems produce waste water that is contaminated with ammonia or sulfuric acid. Both are substances that should not be released into the atmosphere. The right equipment is required to manage these processes responsibly and safely.
SAGER+MACK pumps and filter technologies, due to their robust design, enable low-maintenance and reliable operation, free of unwanted leakages. This prevents emissions to air or soil. Sager + Mack offers complete solutions from a single source – from the individual pump or filter unit to filter stations in modular design including the appropriate filter media, we can offer a wide range to operators of biogas plants, as well as plant constructors for flue gas desulfurization plants. Our pumps reliably convey aggressive, corrosive as well as chemically contaminated liquids.

Agrar Industrial Pumps

Sager + Mack produces chemical resistant pumps for aggressive and corrosive liquids. We offer horizontal and vertical pumps consisting of corrosion and wear resistant materials. All wetted parts are made of solid material. Pumps are required in the biogas sector for the filtration of the circulating scrubbing water of the gas scrubber, as well as for the pumping of chemicals e.g. in the neutralization of waste water of the desulfurization plants.

FILTERS – Sager + Mack offers you an extremely extensive product range of filters – among others for biogas desulfurization. Depending on the requirements, cartridge filters, plate filters, bag filters, quick-change filters, screw cap filters or high-flow filters are used. Environmentally harmful liquids, chemically contaminated wastewater or aggressive chemicals. These filters are used, for example, in the filtration of the circulating wash water of the desulfurization plant, to prevent clogged spray nozzles or also to retain unwanted solids in the circuit. The extended cleaning of waste water by means of activated carbon is also an application for this.

FILTER STATIONS FOR THE CHEMICAL INDUSTRY– Our modularly assembled filter stations are available completely piped and ready for production with magnetically coupled centrifugal pump on a base frame. According to your application, the type and size of the filter chambers and the installed magnetic centrifugal pumps can be flexibly and individually adapted. The plastic pumps used are chemical resistant and therefore perfect for tasks with corrosive liquids. However, you can also obtain our products in stainless steel versions or other common materials. Our products are robust, low-wear and resilient and ideally suited for your tasks.
